9.12 Sparks – The SME Stock Market
Sparks is the SME segment of SIX Swiss Exchange – specifically designed for companies with a total market capitalization of up to CHF 500 million. Its goal is to make it easier for smaller companies to access the capital markets and increase their visibility among investors.
The regulatory requirements for listing on Sparks are identical to those of other SIX segments. Companies must meet the same transparency and reporting obligations as all listed equity issuers on SIX – while benefiting from structurally streamlined conditions.
In addition, Sparks offers companies a wide range of benefits, including but not limited to:
Reduced annual base fee of CHF 8,000 – with no variable additional costs
Discounted participation in the SIX Stage Program and the Sparks Research Hub
Free legal advice from partner law firms for listed SMEs
Exclusive community events, targeted corporate access support, and special discounts on training and education
Waiver of transfer fees for switching from another exchange segment to Sparks (valid for two years)
