12.3 Swiss IR Club
The Swiss IR Club was founded in 1992 in Zurich as the Swiss Society of Investor Relations ( Schweizerische Investor Relations Vereinigung (SIRV) to promote the interests of the investor relations profession among Switzerland’s publicly listed companies. Today, it comprises around 90 member companies and approximately 250 IR professionals, with about 80% of companies in the Swiss Market Index (SMI) represented. All IR employees of member companies can participate, making the club a broad-based platform for professionals across the Swiss IR community.
The club serves as an interactive forum for exchanging ideas, discussing current IR topics, and developing practical solutions. It organizes regular events featuring expert presentations and open discussions, while also fostering networking in an informal setting. Structured as a non-profit organization, it is governed by a voluntary board composed of IR leaders who serve without compensation.
